Jan Blachowicz went in on the way he manages his personal and professional life when preparing for a fight. While breaking down how important Jukowska is to him, he also explained the way they balance things out. Having his fiancé as his manager will certainly pose an interesting dynamic between them.
“Really important because she’s my fiance, she’s my manager, she’s the mother of my son. She’s a big part of my life and she’s been with me when I don’t have nothing, no money, nothing. Now when I have almost everything, she’s with me…without her I think I will not be the champion you know.
“One month before the fight we are just business people, we don’t talk about love and relationships. She brings sparring partners, you know, everything that I need… One month before the fight we are business partners, after the fight everything is back to normal and we are lovers again and a family.”
Whatever system has been laid out in the Blachowicz household is certainly doing wonders for everyone involved. The undisputed champion is coming off the biggest win of his pro career, and he’s aging like fine wine. He’s beginning to open new doors with a possible move up to heavyweight and is also keen to continue defending his championship.
