Vignesh Shivan thanks Samantha Akkineni as she assures fans will love Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal

While having an interaction with her fans, South star Samantha Akkineni answered one of her fans’ queries about her upcoming film Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. While answering the question, Samantha Akkineni said that fans will love the film and tagged its director Vignesh Shivan. The Naanum Rowdy Dhaan director, who became elated with it, thanked her for the remark and shared the video. It was announced on Valentine’s Day last year that the director was collaborating with Samantha, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi for the romantic drama.

The film’s shooting started in Hyderabad last month with all the lead actors joining the sets. This Rom-Com marks the maiden collaboration of Sam and Nayanthara, while the latter has shared screen space with Vijay Sethupathi in Vignesh Shivan’s Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. Sam, on the other hand, had worked along with Vignesh Shivan for Super Deluxe.

Though there was no scene that showed them both together, it was one of the critically acclaimed films of Kollywood. Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal will have music scored by Anirudh Ravichander. Written by Vignesh Shivan, who is also helming the project, the story for the film was ready two years ago. For his role in the film, Vijay Sethupathi will be losing some weight. While finishing her interaction on Instagram, Samantha Akkineni signed off saying that she was going to join the sets of the film to shoot for it.
