Thalapathy Vijay to collaborate with Lokesh Kanagaraj again after completing his next with Nelson Dilipkumar?
Thalapathy Vijay took the Box Office by storm after his film Master hit the big screens recently. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Master was one of the films that got a theatrical release soon after the lockdown restrictions were relaxed. Now, a new report has come up stating that Thalapathy Vijay will be collaborating with Lokesh Kanagaraj yet again for a film after Thalapathy 65. According to a report in India Today, the film will be bankrolled by Lalit Kumar’s Seven Screen Studios.
However, an official announcement regarding this development has not been made yet. Master also starred Vijay Sethupathi as the main antagonist, while Malavika Mohanan was the leading lady. It had an ensemble of star cast including Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, Andrea Jeremiah, Arjun Das and Gauri Kishan. Master hit the big screens as a Pongal special on January 13. A couple of weeks after its theatrical release, the film was opened to the OTT audience too.

Meanwhile, Thalapathy Vijay will be next seen in a film tentatively titled Thalapathy 65, which will be helmed by Doctor director Nelson Dilipkumar and bankrolled by Sun Pictures. It is expected that the makers will soon announce the rest of the cast and crew soon. Pooja Hegde is rumoured to be playing the leading lady. On the other hand, Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next directorial venture will have Kamal Haasan as the lead actor. On Kamal’s birthday, the makers released a teaser and hinted that the film will be a gangster flick. The makers are expected to give an update about the film’s progress soon.
