Shailene Woodley & Aaron Rodgers: Post quickie engagement, duo having kids? Latter says its the next challenge
Aaron Rodgers is finally sharing some details about his quickie engagement to actress Shailene Woodley! In a new chat via Instagram Live, the 37-year-old Green Bay Packers quarterback shared a couple of comments on his engagement to Woodley. “I’m recently engaged, so been enjoying that part of my life,” Aaron shared during an Instagram Live conversation with Zenith Watches CEO Julien Tornare.
“Obviously that’s the best thing that’s happened to me in the last year,” Aaron continued. For the unversed, Aaron shocked fans when he mentioned his “fiancee” during an NFL Honors acceptance speech in early February. The speech happened just days after we learned that he was dating the 29-year-old Big Little Lies actress. Shailene officially confirmed she and Aaron were engaged during an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon several days later.
In the same IG Live chat, Aaron dished on wanting to become a dad one day soon, saying the “next great challenge will be being a father,” adding that he’s “in the age group where a lot of my close friends from high school and college are fathers now and have families of their own.”
Last month when the rumours of their engagement surfaced, many close friends of Rodgers spoke to People magazine and shared their reaction. The insider reflected on the decision and said, “It was a surprise that they got so close so quickly,” the insider close to Aaron told the tabloid. “I mean, it really felt like one day he was with Danica Patrick, and then suddenly he was with Shailene. It happened super fast.” “This isn’t like Aaron at all,” the insider added.
