Sara Ali Khan REVEALS the things she had learnt about life during the COVID 19 lockdown & it’s quite relatable
The COVID 19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown came as a massive jolt for the entire nation as everyone was cooped in their respective homes. While it was distressing for many of us, it also turned out to be a lesson for some as it has also introduced us to a new normal as well. Recently, Sara Ali Khan opened up on her lockdown experience and revealed that it did teach her about gratitude along with enjoying small things in life.
Talking about the same, Sara, in an interview with ELLE, stated that while she has been on a constant run in life, the lockdown taught her to slow down. The actress stated that last year changed her a lot. While the lady has been quite active and ambition, Sara believes it can lead to burnout. Speaking about the first things she had learnt in the pandemic is that ultimately the things one needs to bring a smile to one’s face are much less. In fact, there are little things like sitting with your mother for a good cup of coffee or eating dal chawal which brings a smile to the face.
“So, the first thing I’ve learnt is gratitude, lots of it,” Sara added. Moving on, the lockdown taught the Pataudi princess to stop and enjoy the present. Sara opined that each of one us is busy thinking about the next big thing and forgets to enjoy the present. She said, “The lockdown has taught me that we don’t know what will come next and so I don’t have to think of it. I want to simply enjoy the now.”
Meanwhile, talking about the work front, Sara will be next seen in Aanand L Rai’s upcoming directorial Atrangi Re. Also starring and Dhanush in key roles, the movie is slated to release on August 6 this year.
