Samantha Akkineni took to her Instagram space and expressed how impressed she was with the recently released Netflix anthology Pitta Kathalu. Lauding Lakshmi Manchu’s role in the film, she said that she has become a huge fan of her. Sam also lauded director Nandini Reddy and the other cast members who acted in the film. Sharing a video clip, the Jaanu star said Nandini was scared to try the new genre at first, but pulled it off amazingly.
She wrote, “So proud of you @nandureddyy … I know you were super scared to take the plunge .. to do something so far beyond your comfort zone.. but I am so so glad that you did .. you nailed this one .. who would have thunk it ..lust, rage and betrayal could be your new thing .. and @rip_aparte you killed it Fab performances @amalapaul and @iamjaggubhai”

This four-part anthology film is directed by four directors namely Tharun Bhascker, BV Nandini Reddy, Nag Ashwin and Sankalp Reddy. Eesha Rebba, Lakshmi Manchu, Amala Paul and Shruti Haasan played the lead roles. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies and Ashi Dua Sara’s Flying Unicorn Entertainment, Pitta Kathalu will premiere on the video streaming platform on February 19. Meanwhile, Samantha Akkineni is currently busy with the shooting of her upcoming film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, which also features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.
