Meghan & Harry’s Explosive Interview: Serena Williams, Gabrielle Union, others tweet in support; See Reactions
Meghan Markle & Prince Harry spilt the tea on why they decided to leave and step down from their life as working members of the royal family in a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey. From revealing reasons that led to the major decision to receiving no support from the family, Harry and Meghan let it all. And while Twitter was divided over backing and bashing them, several celebrities and personalities took to social media to show their support for the couple.
In the interview, Meghan opened up about her deteriorating mental health while she was pregnant with Archie. However, her request to be treated or supported for her mental health was shot down by the Palace. From accusations of racism to Prince Harry being financially cut off from the family, Meghan and Harry received a lot of support after their bombshell interview.
One of them was her closest friends Serena Williams who penned a heartfelt note. She wrote, “I am so proud of you for being so brave. I know it is never easy. You are strong — both you and Harry. I love you. I adore you.” Actress Gabrielle Union expressed her shock over the tabloid culture in the UK as she tweeted, “The tabloids are HOSTED by the palace?!?!?!?!?! WHEW #HarryandMeghanonOprah.” She also retweeted a series of other tweets which made some shocking revelations about the royal family.
Kamala Harris’ niece Meena Harris also tweeted Meghan’s strong and significant statements from the interview. Take a look at some of the reactions to Meghan and Harry’s interview:

Meghan was the Crown's greatest opportunity for change, regeneration, and reconciliation in a new era. They didn't just maltreat her light–they missed out on it.

I watched M & H sit down. Emotional distress & racism must feel suffocating & powerless. I’m a polarizing, unfiltered(often to a fault)flawed person w a voice. When I heard of the interview, during a pandemic, it felt like a surprising choice. I’m sorry if it hurt or offended you.
