Netmin Games has announced the official release date of Handball Manager 2021 on Steam. The developer also states that the game features the official license of Liqui Moly HBL.
Handball Manager 2021 brings players back to the court as the handball club manager. Players have to search for the best members to recruit, train them, and win as many trophies as possible.
The game contains the official license of Liqui Moly Handball Bundesliga plus its second division, which is the German league and the strongest championship in Europe.
Handball is a team sport where players pass a ball using their hands and try to successfully launch the ball into the opponent’s goal and score the most points. The athletes are tough, but the manager will have to be tougher to lead their team to success.

Within the game, players have full control over all sports and commercial aspects of their club. Managers start their career within their favorite club then set up practice matches with their handball team. Players can choose from real players and real clubs to create their dream team or make a custom team within the editor.
Along with managing a team comes handling the merchandise. Players will try and profit from fan support by selling merchandise and raising more funds. But also managers will have to handle making a name for the club out in the world with volunteer work, the stock market, and more.
Some players may cause issues within the club. Managers are also responsible for handling their players’ private lives and ensuring they don’t cause trouble for the team.
Handball Manager 2021 contains an optional “Corona Mode” where players have to experience the difficulties of a sports manager. Players will learn first hand about what some managers are currently going through during the 2020 COVID-19 situation.
Players have the option of experiencing the actual games in multiple ways. They can sit back and watch their work in real-time or take full control of the players of the team.
Managers can exchange their self-created editor and community content with the Steam Workshop or download content from the community.
The Handball Manager series first debuted in 2006. Since its initial launch, five main games and one spin-off have been published. The German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure supports the series as part of the federal government’s computer game funding with 93,273 EUR.
Handball Manager 2021 launches on PC via Steam on January 15, 2021.
