The Team Trackhouse Racing outfit has been performing well in the marketing department. Now, the latest news is that the team has roped in a new sponsor in the form of Freeway Insurance. According to reports, the new partnership will result in a new sponsor-themed livery at Texas in October.
When Daniel Suarez will race in the Playoff round at the Texas Motor Speedway, the team’s new sponsor will feature predominantly on the car.
When team founder Justin Marks teamed up with rapper Pitbull and made him the co-owner earlier this year, the outfit made huge waves in the NASCAR scene.
Since then, the Latino has been doing his part to promote the team. On the track, the team had a bit of a sluggish start to their maiden campaign in the Cup Series. However, they have since found their footing and steadily improved from there. Things actually peaked at the Bristol dirt race when Suarez finished in the top five.
How can Trackhouse Racing improve from here?
Admittedly, the Bristol race was hugely unpredictable, considering that Suarez’ highest finish was 15th before this race. So, a fine fourth place was a massive improvement and a confidence booster. In other words, this fourth-place finish could be a sign that the Trackhouse Racing team is ready to mix it up with the big guns.
Of course, the other side of the argument is that the result was probably a one-off. As mentioned before, Daniel Suarez had never broken into the Top 10 at all until the Bristol race. However, the team will definitely be encouraged and will try to continue providing consistent results.
Until then, Daniel Suarez will simply look forward to the Cup Series race in Martinsville. He currently lies 20th in the championship, but with so many races to go, he has plenty of time to improve.
