“Bring It On”: Serena Williams’ Coach Hyped Up for Australian Open 2021
Frenchman Patrick Mouratoglou, coach of Serena Williams, is not any less excited than anybody for the coming Australian Open 2021. To put his emotions in a visual form, he shared a picture of the American warming-up in Melbourne Park last year.
Notably, the 23-time Grand Slam champion and her coach are known for their many unconventional training regimes. In the throwback picture, Serena was doing stretching on a hand-stand before one of her matches.
Looking forward, the 50-year-old French coach alarmed the other players that they are ready for the first Slam. However, the news will get unimaginably bigger if the American champion can pull off her 24th major there.
The post also has a video of the exercise where a trainer is helping her. In addition to that, Mouratoglou even shares a view of a packed Melbourne Park arena during one of Williams match in 2020.
“Ready to turn our world upside down for the next month,” Patrick wrote. “Bring it on, Australia.”

Serena Williams coach positive about Australian Open 2021
The 39-year-old will travel to Adelaide this week, to go under the two-week quarantine. She will even participate in an exhibition match there along with Top 3 men and women of tennis.
But all that is not in prime focus for the American as well as her coach. They want to win the Australian Open title and make history happen. However, she is already the leading major titles winner in the Open Era of the sport.
Last year, the former World No. 1 ended her campaign in the third-round stage of the Happy Slam. She even won her latest Slam (23rd) in the same tournament back in 2017.
Is 2021 last chance for Williams to win number 24?
Since her return to tennis after being a mother, Serena’s biggest goal has been the 24th Grand Slam. Earlier, she confirmed that breaking Margaret Court’s all-time record is the only reason she is still playing.
Williams is only one Slam behind to equal Australian legend’s record of 24 major titles. Unluckily, post motherhood, the American has failed in 4 Slam finals.
Now, considering her coach’s positive enthusiasm, fans should expect big from the 4-time Olympic Gold medallist. She might finally ace through her luck at the major tournaments.
Do you think Serena will win her 24th Slam or call it off in 2021?
