Ajith and Nayanthara starrer Billa to re release in the theatres again? Here’s what we know

Thala Ajith’s fans have been patiently waiting for updates regarding his upcoming movie Valimai. It has been creating a lot of buzz ever since its inception. In the midst of all this, some of them have been disappointed with the movie’s makers for not giving any new updates related to it. This also left Ajith upset who talked about how a few people have refused to maintain decency and demanded news on Valimai in public venues. However, we have got some good news for all the fans of the superstar.

A recent report suggests that Ajith’s 2007 movie Billa is going to release in the theatres again. For the uninitiated, it will reportedly hit the theatre screens across Tamil Nadu on March 12, 2021. As per a press statement, this movie of Ajith is going to be released for all his fans. This is sure to leave them excited. Billa was a reboot version of the 1980 Tamil movie of the same name featuring Rajinikanth. The latter itself was a remake of the 1978 action thriller don featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Zeenat Aman.

Apart from Ajith, Billa also features Nayanthara and Namitha in the lead roles. For the unversed, the South star played dual roles in the action thriller. It was directed by Vishnuvardhan while Yuvan Shankar Raja composed music for the same. Meanwhile, Pinkvilla had exclusively revealed earlier that Ajith is in talks with H. Vinoth and Boney Kapoor for his upcoming project Thala 61.
